One Year Performance and One Annoying Moment Each Day
by Cinzia Delnevo and Shervin Kianersi Haghighi
foreword by Phyllis Dierick
series la c., vol. 43
112 pages, no ill., b/w
paperback, 14×20 cm
The record of a long-term invisible- performance between the two artists is a walk on a thin line through things that one considers annoying and doesn’t dare or want to share with anyone else.
The documentation consists of a series of brief recordings of those single moments each day during one year in their own native language, Farsi and Italian.

Exhibition ‘Ritratti Culinari, Paesaggi Inattesi’

Note di Sguardi
Artisti invitati da Eva Scharrer a Berlino: Christine Würmell, Nadira Husain, Antonia Low, Adam Broomberg, Halina Kliem, Andrea Pichl, Ulf Aminde, Markus Uhr, Lise Harlev, Christina Dimitriadis, Kristin Loschert, Nasan Tur

Symposium "From Performance to Action and Back Again: The Intra-action Between the Document and its Users"
From Performance to Action and Back Again focusses on the complex relation between performance art and documentation. The relationship between the original performance, its documentation and its users/audience will be investigated and from there the research will attempt to provide answers on how we can activate the notion of documentation in performance art. It proposes to re-think the notation and documentation of performances, not as a confirmation of them, but as the creation of new source material that gives the audience the opportunity to go somewhere else, to move away from the original action or performance and explore its unpredictable side effects.
Everyone is free to participate in the conference, but registration is required.

From Performance to Action and Back Again is the first part of the research project Performing Documentation and is closely linked to the doctoral research of Shervin Kianersi Haghighi. During the second part (November 2018) the results of the symposium will be further explored in the spaces of nadine. Performing Documentation is a collaboration between the research unit Image of LUCA School of Arts and nadine laboratory for contemporary arts
